·    Instructor, Oregon State University College of Business 2007-2008: Taught four terms of BA 260 “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” (200 sophomore business minors).  Teacher Evaluations rated “this course as a whole was” as 5.4/6.0 vs. 4.7/6.0 for the department and “the instructor’s contribution to the course was” 5.7/6.0 vs. 5.1/6.0 for the department. 

·    Recipient of a 2007-2008 Newcomb Associate Teaching Award.

·    Doctoral Student Teacher, University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce: Taught COMM 468-N “Entrepreneurship” (30 seniors) in Fall, 2006.  Evaluations rated me “an effective teacher” with a 4.87 on a 5 point Likert scale with 86% “strongly agree” versus 4.26 and 49% “strongly agree” for the department as a whole. “I learned a great deal” was rated 4.70 vs. 4.23 for the department and “worthwhile course” scored 4.78 vs. 4.26 for the department as a whole.

·    WAVERAMP:  General Manager of a broadband Wireless ISP (WISP) start-up built around an Intel company town and “fab.”  Managed all day-to-day operations from company inception through sale to USUR.OTC.
